Can you guess what is going on in the background of this picture?
(side note: i
really have lost 30+ pounds on this deployment,
though you cannot see it in my face)
The Spanish soldiers put on a "running of the bulls"
Others were aloud to join in the hoopla-some of our US troops donned red bandannas and ran around like toreadors. It actually would have been fun to participate in. I just didn't realize we could and besides, I wouldn't have been able to snap these pics to prove just how creative we can get with time on our side.
They were so into it.
When the soldiers fell, others would scoop them up to avoid the bull's horns. Ah, the victor! Another bull that someone conquered. a group shot afterward
my camera is on the fritz. it shakes after using it for a bit so the pics come out blurry.
i'm hoping it'll hang in there for my last few weeks.
yes folks, i'm homeward bound in just a few weeks. (so don't send any packages my way cause I won't get them)
this is one of the professional pictures we take ever 2 months
the Spaniards rotate that often. i'd rather take my 6-month deployment and deploy less often than come out for just a couple months but have several deployments in exchange.
